I did also make a traditional bread pudding but it’s much dryer, even though I put a big glug of Calvados in it too!

A bit late I know.
We had pork chops, mashed potatoes with carrots and beans.
Stewed apple and custard.

Ham, eggs and mushroom this evening.

Beef and leek casserole served with creamed sweet potato and beans
Cheese and lettuce afterwards, and maybe some stewed apple and live yog for pud

I'm making mushroom soup soon. We'll have it with bread and butter, and grated parmesan and crispy bacon bits.

Mr GF got a box of gorgeous individual little cakes delivered this morning (birthday present). We've had one each so far but maybe another one or two each for dessert.

I decided to make a tarte tartin as I couldn’t face stewing any more apples! Yum

Breaded chicken breast with sweet potato mash and Kale

Lentil soup with mini sausage meatballs in it. Orange slices in muscovado sugar and rum syrup.

Pasta and meat balls in a tomato sauce.

Southern fried chicken with chips and salad. Apple and Strawberry pie with cream

Due to not going shopping today's meal will be mostly out of the freezer. Fish fingers, hash brown waffles and peas with parsley sauce.

More of Mr GF's little cakes for dessert.

Meatballs with pasta. Better make the other meal a veg soup of some variety to counter that!

OH has just walked in with a huuuuge lettuce, so I guess it’s a tumble salad tonight
