      • Sunday lunch was fish risotto (Pollocks, but never mind them). Took far less time than my usual concoctions and went down well.
Location:- Rugby, Warwckshire on Limy clay (within sight of the Cement factory)

        • Courgette and white bean soup.

Absolutely perfect Williams (Bartlett) pears for pud (shop bought). My favourite dessert pear. Our own tree is not that well sited and isn't very productive. I might put another in.

          • I’m fancying a tuna and sweetcorn omlette with a salad. Not really the right weather for a salad though
OH made a tarte tartin yesterday and it’s absolutely amazing. I guess that’s for pud then

We didn’t get one Williams pear this year off our small espalier - they are delish though aren’t they?

              • Bren, I'm going to be a copycat.

Cottage pie, roast parsnips, and french beans.

Don't know if there will be a pud.

                • Lasagne and salad. Yoghurt Lolly after. They are light and delicious, but expensive. I hasten to say they were on offer. I might have to look at making some.

Well that looks easy! Greek yoghurt on the shopping list then

                    • I made to much Cottage pie filling so I'm turning some into Cornish pasties for the freezer.

                        • I just couldn't decide this morning, but eventually got down to two choices: Fish pie or tomato soup. I let Mr GF choose.

Copying you again, Bren. Tomato soup, bread and butter and a bowl of grated parmesan.

                          Strawberries and cream.

Flo, let us know if the yoghurt lollies are a success. I'm normally not a big fan of lollies but I think my throat would really appreciate one at the moment.

Apparently they are just Greek yoghurt with fruit puree mixed in, so I'm going to put some in tubs on Thursday so will let you know on Friday Bren
