          • Lasagne and salad. Donuts.

It's posting on here that has made me realise that we're in a bit of a rut. Must make some changes!

            • ^Donuts are a change, Flo. Not sure I've ever seen you post those and I'm sure I would have noticed, as I love jam doughnuts.

We didn't have toad in the hole yesterday. The day ran away with me, so we had leftover courgette and butterbean soup and toasted cheese and Branston sandwiches.

We're on for misir and doro wat tonight. That's a regular for us too... Probably a yogurt for pud to calm my mouth down afterwards.

                • Last night was fish, chips and scraps from our local chippy.

Tonight was fish fingers, potato waffles and peas with homemade parsley sauce.

                  Blueberry crumble for pudding.

I was thinking of maybe prawn risotto tomorrow but now I'm thinking maybe meat for a change.

                  • The sausages and cabbage we didn't have the other day. Onion and apple gravy plus Yorkshire puds.

Don't think we'll want pud after that lot. But I might make a chocolate and orange cake for the weekend.

                      • I think I'll make a cottage pie and we'll have it with roasted parsnips, cavalo nero and extra gravy.

I tried to get either fresh or tinned pineapple in my grory hop yesterday ..... but none available. If I get some today it will be pineapple upside down pudding. If not probably Eve's pudding.

                        • Pudding has just changed to pancakes, by special request of Mr GF, served with a sprinkle of sugar and orange wedges.

                          • Usual throw out for us.
I'm making 3lbs of short crust pastry for the freezer and hoping I can find space for it!

                            • Cauliflower and coconut curry.

The chocolate and orange cake I was threatening to make yesterday.

                              • Risotto tonight. I'm thinking prawn and whatever veg in the fridge want using up.

I've just had the Be-Ro recipe book out. For pud, I'm thinking, "Upside down peach and butterscotch pudding," which I haven't made this winter yet. Obviously, lashings of custard, too.
