Two reasons we're not having the upside down peach and butterscotch pudding.

1: I haven't got a tin of peaches. I could have sworn that I did.

2: While getting some bits for my brother in law, Mr GF managed to sneak some jam and fresh cream doughnuts into my basket. He loves doughnuts ..... apart from the Krispy Kreme ones with the icing on top.

Nettie's making pilchards on toast. I just couldn't get motivated to make the planned cod in parsley sauce (with extra portions for mum-in-law).

Cottage pie with kale and sweetcorn.

Soup tonight. I think it will be curried sweet potato served with bread and butter and a dish of parmesan.

Finishing of the rest of yesterday cottage pie with some cabbage.

I've got as far as salmon for tonight. No idea what with yet, or what pudding I may make.

Roasting a chicken in the air fyer, so will probably have it with roast veg.

Nettle soup to start with followed by
Steak and Guinness pie with a mashed potato topping.
’ Opera ‘ cake for pud.

I ended up baking the salmon with lemon and capers. We had it with a creamy pesto sauce, potatoes dauphinois, PSB, and carrots.

Rice pud for dessert.

Panini bread pizza with homemade coleslaw and Black cherry toms.

Prawn and hard boiled egg salad with, hopefully, a perfectly ripe avocado, and Marie Rose sauce. A few beer battered onion rings. Bread and butter.

I'm still fancying pineapple upside down pudding, but as I've no pineapple, but have got oranges that need using, I think we might have orange upside down pudding.

As I'm making chicken pies and cottage pies for the freezer, it will probably be naked beans on toast! I do have some treacle puddings, (shop bought) and a tin of custard so instant dessert too
