  • Two reasons we're not having the upside down peach and butterscotch pudding.

    1: I haven't got a tin of peaches. I could have sworn that I did.

    2: While getting some bits for my brother in law, Mr GF managed to sneak some jam and fresh cream doughnuts into my basket. He loves doughnuts ..... apart from the Krispy Kreme ones with the icing on top.

    • Nettie's making pilchards on toast. I just couldn't get motivated to make the planned cod in parsley sauce (with extra portions for mum-in-law).

                      • I ended up baking the salmon with lemon and capers. We had it with a creamy pesto sauce, potatoes dauphinois, PSB, and carrots.

                        Rice pud for dessert.
