    • Joining Himself in a sandwich Tuna crunch for me. Followed by a shop bought fresh cream raspberry turnover. All sounds a bit Benny Hill

      • Tonight risotto. Salmon, sweetcorn and pea.

Mince pies, (Aldi's all butter version, which are totally addictive), and cream.

        • Spag bol (again) for us for lunch. Very quick and easy seeing as I've got the bol already made. Plus it looks more like a meal to Mr Snoop than beans on toast, which was the other option I had in mind.

          Up the valley for supper.

I’m sorely tempted to make a Yorkshire pudding though to go with it!

              • Lunch: cassoulet with tiramisu for pud. And wines too various... We all enjoyed it but not in the least bit sensible, health-wise.

I followed this recipe for the tiramisu to avoid using uncooked eggs. My creamy mixture came out much more yellow - big yolks perhaps - but absolutely fantastic. https://www.savorysimple.net/tiramisu/

                • ^^^ thanks for the recipe Snoop Printed off!

I actually bought a packet of fingers the other week in anticipation of having a go at one.

                  • ^^^ I'm confused. The recipe calls for ladyfingers. Is okra really a normal ingredient for Italian puddings?

                            • Last night's fish and chips were yummy. I had to queue outside the door again, a very good natured queue I must say with lots of laughter.

As I've got a big box of mushrooms in the fridge, I'm going to make mushroom soup for tonight, with some of my homemade chicken stock and lots of tarragon. Crusty bread and butter and parmesan.

Mince pies and a dob of cream.

                              • I had a chicken kebab last night. I had forgotten how awful it was last time, but remembered when I threw it away. Wish I'd shared Himself's fish and chips!

Home made burgers and wedges tonight.
