Cooking Tonight #5

My goose is cooked . Done the potatoes and gravy as well. Should make tomorrow a bit less fraught.

Tonight is left over chilli which we didn't get a chance to eat on Saturday because Nettie's mum needed help and dinner was cancelled.

Sausage rolls and assorted salads, maybe some baked pots depending on how hungry Mr Snoop is.

Edited: pineapple for pud. It's smelling very ripe.

Re-edited: Mr Snoop is campaigning for sausage risotto. Easier for me, so I'm not unhappy.

An open buffet for us…all day!
Xmas Dinner left overs to have in a butty or with a salad - or hot.

I’ve made a clementine trifle for pud.

The rest of yesterday beef, roasties and veg.

We had gammon yesterday which we weren't overly impressed with. I think the rest of it can be chopped up and frozen to use in pea and ham soup or chicken and ham pie.

I gave Mr GF a few choices this morning.He says he fancies somthing completely non- Christmassy. He's picked scampi, chips and peas.

Leftover Christmas pudding and brandy cream.

Roast turkey, proper chips and pickles, sliced bread with loads of butter so it runs down your chin when you make a buttie

Salmon, broccoli, peas sweetcorn with either rice or saute potatoes.

Salad tonight . We have a small amount of roast chicken breast and pork fillet left from yesterday’s buffet, so those and hard boiled quail eggs will be the guest ingredients.
Looking forward to some simple, healthy food tbh!
Might make a fresh fruit salad for pud.

I think a risotto for us tonight. Probably chicken, mushroom, sweetcorn, pea and whatever other veg need using up. I'd better get some leftover cooked chicken out of the freezer and some chicken stock before I forget.

Just got word that Mr Snoop took himself out for lunch. So a good excuse for carrot and apple soup and pineapple for afters.

Neither of us fancy a throw out, so it's Turkey sandwiches for us both today. I'll have a small salad with mine and a raspberry Magnum
