      • Battered large fish fingers for us too, but with chips and bread and butter. I froze the left over donuts last week, so I've defrosted them today. Not sure if they'll be edible, but we'll see

            • I'm going to roast a chicken this afternoon. We'll have it with roast parsnips, cauliflower cheese, french beans mashed potatoes and gravy.

              • Duck breast with broccoli and sweet potatoes followed by a princess torte cake . (Bit like Victoria sponge with a huge load of cream on top then draped with a thin layer of marzipan .)

                    • Today will be leftover chicken from yesterday. We'll have it with either new potatoes or garlic bread, corn on the cob, salad and beer battered onion rings.

                      Maybe a little apple and blueberry crumble with cream or custard.

                      I'll then strip the chicken carcass and bung it in the slow cooker to make stock to put in the freezer.

                        • Lunch was a humdinger but mostly prepared yesterday so doesn't count. Supper: cauli and pear soup and cheese and crackers, which probably also doesn't count as I made the soup yesterday.
