I've decided on a cheese and leek tart, corn on the cob, couscous with roast veg, and a few beer battered onion rings.

Possibly paradise slice for afters. At long last.

GF- I found some cheddar in the freezer ( expensive here, but this was on offer - use by date- and I grabbed it a few weeks ago thinking it’d be good on a burger bun)
So - thanks to your idea, we too are having cheese and leek tart. But with salad.

Bacon, egg, onions, mushrooms and tomatoes:- fry up.

Tomorrow is bœuf bourguignon.

Last night's menu altered a bit. The quiche lost it's pastry and became omelette. We still had corn on the cob, some couscous salad, potato waffles and a little green salad with mainly leftover rocket. The main surprise was that Mr GF ate all his rocket. I can only presume this was due to the fact that I'd just made some fresh mayonnaise and served some on top of it.

Tonight soup I think. Either mushroom or tomato, with bread and butter and grated parmesan.

Pancakes, sugar, and oranges to squeeze over or raspberry vinegar.

Potée - well, a variation on a theme.
Basically smoked ham,sausage and lardons in a casserole with cabbage, beans, onions, leeks, carrots, parsnips and potatoes in a slowly cooked casserole. Crusty homemade bread for dunking

All change here last night too. Baked beans on toast instead. Delicious.

Another traybake for us tonight. Will bung some of the cauli in. The rest I'll turn over to cauli curry I think.
