Our ‘stew’ last night looked similar but with chunks of ham hock and smoked sausage.

Left overs tonight. Yum!

Nicos I miss ham hocks our local butcher was the only local supplier that sold them.

Tonight will be chicken risotto with tarragon, sweetcorn, french beans and any other bits of veg loitering in the veg drawer mixed in.

We were too full for pancakes for dessert last night but as I'd already mixed some batter, we had them later, for supper. We might just have to have them again tomorrow for "official" pancake day.

Lasagne with salad and crusty bread roll. Sponge pudding with custard.

Chilli tonight. Still looking for that elusive ingredient for my chilli, something is definitely missing.

Red wine Jay!…and a decent splash of Worcestershire sauce…and a big knob of butter .
Is it maybe lacking salt?????
