      • Fish tonight. Breaded haddock I think with new potatoes, carrots, peas and homemade tartare sauce. (I've got some leftover mayonnaise I made earlier in the week. I'll just add capers, a bit of cucumber pickle and parsley to it.)

            Sorry, didn't even make them! But they're the proper ones made by the Indian ladies' co-operative.

                      • I'd given Mr GF a choice of fish pie or omelette. He had decided on omelette but has now changed his mind to fish and chips from the fish shop. He was fancying them on Saturday but our favourite fish and chip shop doesn't open Saturday evening.

                            • Minced beef Hash on the hob with loads of veg in it and about to make a Cottage Pie with the rest of the mince. I forgot to put it in the freezer and the use by date is today. Will probably have the pie tonight - the hash is always tastier the next day
