  • You two are making me salivate ( not a nice sight for sure!)

    Decision made…frittata with mixed veggies and lardons with a side of our own Nero which is starting to flower.

    • When eldest was small she wouldn’t eat trifle because it had bread inside and jelly with bread was wrong.
      She’d help make the sponge cake we’d spread it with jam eating half the rest went in the trifle.
      She still insisted it was bread.

          • Tonight cheese and onion crispbakes, a big salad (with plenty mayonnaise for Mr GF to tempt him to eat it), and a few spicy potato wedges.

            More of the trifle.

                      • Lunch will be lamb steaks, miniature potatoes, sugar snap peas and courgettes fried with onions and tinned tomatoes. Very much mint sauce will be added.

                        • Last night's cheese and onion crispbakes, (ready made from the supermarket), were a big hit with both of us. Mr GF even ate every last bit of his salad and potato wedges, with the addition of an extra dollop of homemade mayonnaise.

                          Tonight I'm going to make soup of some kind. We'll have it with grated parmesan and bread and butter.
