I bought 1kg of marmalade oranges, and made my marmalade yesterday evening and this morning. Oranges cooked in the pressure cooker for 40 mins
pips (and some pith) removed, sugar added last night, but then it was too late for cooking, so did the rest this morning. I found the sugar thermometer, and that makes it SO much easier (yes, they can break, but if they don't break, saves testing far too early....) ended up with 7 full jars, and enough 'leftover' for a few slices of toast over the next couple of days.
