I'm sure that I put a recipe up for banana bread some time ago - or was it banana cake. Have you done a search?

Edit - found a thread about it here:banana cake & bread recipes

Delia Online has a Banana and Walnut cake. Otherwise, try these:-

American type, more cake than bread

          bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/database/bananabread_85720.shtml

This one makes muffins and is gluten free

I've done this one by Jamie Oliver.

Jamie Oliver - Recipes - banana and honey bread

Doesn't really taste of banana but great toasted for breakfast and with mashed banana on top if you want to tempt the kids. Or make it into a toasted sandwich with banana filling, Nutella (choc hazelnut spread) or whatever you fancy. Could make it into eggy bread, soak in mix of egg and milk and fry in butter (like fried bread). Have with maple syrup, honey and nuts, fruit, yoghurt or whatever.

BBC - Food - Recipes - Fairtrade banana bread

I made this ome last weekend, but I would advise to use less bananas as it was quite strong.

Oh and sprinkle a little sugar on the top just before putting in the oven for that extra sugary crunch.

I like to try, might not get far, but I like to try.
