Is it the one with the black and white cover with squirly cakes on it with 2/6 written in the bottom corner .... perchance?

I must be older than Lesley!

                      • the one I remember seeing was the old sepia photos and brown text on beige paper! PS before you say Nick - it was an old copy when I saw it - and I was only a child!

                        • To get back to the original topic of this thread - Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall (I think that's how you spell it).

OH came back from the library this morning with a new book of his, published this year.

The silly thing is that he has called his new book, what we Wogan TOGs have been calling him for years, 'Hugh Fearlessly Eats It All'.

Haven't had chance to scrutinise it fully, but it doesn't seem to be a recipe book, more a ramble through his experiences. Has anyone else out there read it yet?

                          Looking forward to his reminiscences.

Cannot stand JO - know what I mean - yeuk.

                          • Not read it but would be intereseted to know what it's like. Take your point on JO, annoying g*t especially the way he drags his entire family into it. Mind you, if you ignore all the cockney geezer bit some of his recipes are actually quite nice!

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

                            • Sorry valmarg - I know what a Wogan is but what is a TOG? Never heard it mentioned on the radio when it is tuned in to Radio 2 in the morning.
                              Bright Blessings
