Great! A new series. I think I know the other three off by heart! But we still watch them. Even OH enjoys them, and we have got some lovely recipes. When you say "school" Nicos is he planning something like the Dairmid Gavin School? Hmmm............~

hi -
There was a big piece by him in the Guardian on Saturday's magazine.
Apparently he's converted a barn to serve as a TV studio and cookery school.
His new book is out tomorrow and costs £15.99 but if you phone 0870 836 0875 you can order it for £13.99 with free postage direct from the Guardian bookshop.
A nice gift to yourself for Xmas for all your hard work on the veg plot eh??
I'm off to Tuscany for 10 days on Tuesday for my treat...going to see how many fresh Porcini mushrooms I can eat!!! (and wander through the sweet chestnut forests collecting nuts to roast on the woodstove!!)
Oh well there goes the old diet again!"Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple
Location....Normandy France

Nicos that's really not fair. However I hope you enjoy it and get lots from it other than a few extra pounds. You will have to tell us your experiences when you return.
by the way what time is the new HFW?Bright Blessings

NEW HFW - great; OH and I were getting a little fed up with the re-hashed programmes being shown.
I think the 'school' aspect is something about educating families as to the ways of living an eco life and being a bit self-sufficient?? I'm sure I read on the River Cottage newsletter that they were looking for families to participate in something like this. Should be interesting!!
