    Seems like an awful lot of sugar... My son's diabetic, but does like Branston (in VERY small doses!)

    Never made chutney - I know, I know... What's the least sugar I could get away with?

      Sorry, I don't know. I would guess that it won't taste like Branston pickle if you use less sugar.

        I did wonder.
