I make a lot of mango chutney but was sidetracked and didn't get round to it and now the mangoes are too soft. I have about 10 and they are pretty big, any suggestions for what to turn them into/make with them? Mango Ice Cream perhaps.

I make a mango ice cream. I use tinned mango pulp, but I see no reason you can't use what you have.
to 1lb fruit puree add 4oz sugar and 10floz double cream. Mix well before putting in the ice cream machine and switch on. It really is that simple!
If you haven't got an ice-cream machine, pour the mixture into a shallow tray, put in the freezer until getting solid around the edges, transfer to a bowl, beat thoroughly, repeat freezing and beating once more (twice if feeling enthusiastic), then allow to freeze thoroughly. Time taken varies with quantity, size/shape of freezing tray, and your freezer.Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.
