we'd never eaten fennel, so we only bought a small bulb. Sliced, part-cooked by steaming (in the microwave) then I stir-fried it with the courgettes. Went beautifully with the duck parcels and baked sweet potatoes.
Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.
