does anyone have a recipe for veggie sausages to share?. I would like to surprise my daughter who is a veggie with some home made bangers instead of the Linda Mac or plain quorn for our barbie next week.....perhaps they might have to be waterproof as well looking at the forecast.......Thanks

Cheese and Apple Sausages.
Makes 8.
In a bowl mix together
7 oz fresh white breadcrumbs
5 oz grated Cheddar cheese
1/2 teaspoon dried sage
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
2 grated apples
Season the mixture well.
In another bowl
beat 1 whole egg and 1 egg yolk (keep the white)
Add the beaten egg to the mixture and mix well.
Divide the mixture into 8 balls and roll into sausage shapes.
Mix 3 oz plain flour and 1 teaspoon mustard powder.
Beat the egg white until it is frothy.
Brush the frothy egg white over the sausages then dip them in the flour and mustard mix.
Your sausages are now ready to cook in a little oil - about 10 minutes.
