Having been on holiday for 2 weeks; I've got a bowl full of peas that were picked a little past their best, most of them are quite 'chubby' and a little square in shape due to over-filling their pods.
Any ideas what I can do with them? My mum suggested mushy peas, but as I remember the mushy peas she made me when I was little were grey and tasteless!
Also, I've been advised that pea pods can be eaten, although I found them to be quite stringy, anyone got a recipe that uses them?
