What variety are they Sauzee? With most "marrows" they can be cut young, at around 6" length and used as courgettes. Loads of recipes here on the Vine.

One answer to marrow is 'stuff it'. No that isn't a rude suggestion, stuffed marrow is nice! There is a recipe not far away on here, but there must be hundreds of options.
It's one use for the remains of the roast. Mince the cooked meat, season with whatever herbs and spices appeal to you, add breadcrumbs or cooked rice, bind with an egg if you like.
Peal the marrow, then cut across it into thick slices (I usually aim for 4 or 5 slices from an average size marrow) and remove the middle-bit with the pips.
Put the slices in a roasting tin, fill with the stuffing mix cover the dish with foil, med-hot oven (about gas 4-5) for 30-40 mins, depending on size.
It's done when the marrow slices are very soft.
If you use raw meat as a base, you need to cook it a bit longer, just in case....
Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.

          Hi
They keep really well when large, my Badger's Cross lasted till April so you don't have to rush!
I really liked it in cheese sauce. Cube the marrow, sprinkle with salt and leave to dry out the cubes. Wash after about half an hour and pat cubes dry. Then fold into a cheese sauce, put in pan, sprinkle on breadcrumbs and put in oven for about 10 minutes to heat and brown the breadcrumbs.

layers of cubed marrow, onions sliced finely, sliced tomatoes in a deep dish.\season each layer well and about half way up the dish add some cheese. Keep going until you get to the top ending with a marrow layer. dot with butter and season well.Cover and cook in a lowish oven for about 2-3 hours, 30 mins before the end take lid off, add more cheese and breadcrumbs if you want, turn heat up a little and brown the top.

it is nowhere near as bland as it sounds!

You can eat it as it is with salad and crsuty bread or as a si9de dish with fish
