I harvested my last broad beans this week and most of them are OK but the skins are very tough even after prolonged boiling.
Anyone any ideas what to do with them?
I simmer them for about 3 mins. then fish them out of the water, wait till they have cooled a little, and you can pop the beans out of their tough skin. slip them back in the water to heat through.
