Carrot recipes needed

Carrot curry is a good as a side dish, make a big pot and freeze into small portions.

In fact I had carrot curry from the freezer, served with chicken curry tonight.

I still just like them steamed best as a side dish but haven't even started pulling my main crop ones yet as we're only just finishing off the so called earlies as I sowed rather more than last year (lost a load to carrot fly last year so sowed extras for contingency this year) but they are truely yummy. Probably got about 12 No 4' rows for winter use which should last a while with the other root veg

I noticed the date at the beginning & thought it was one of our spamming friends dragging up a topic or something but then realised it was just Two Sheds coming up with some new ideas for carrots!
I was going to suggest carrot & coriander soup but I think T.S. is fed up with that one!
Dottie I think my O.H. was given that Indian dessert dish cold for breakfast once by an asian work mate, he wasn't sure what to make of cold carrots for breakfast but said it was tasty!

I've only eaten it once served hot and it was very yummy. If I end up with a batch of carrots in the future, I'm going to give it a go.
