  • Freezing Cream

    Having survived Christmas and being left with 3 pints of cream still in date the question is

    can I freeze it and can I for example whip it if required, (no Nick no) after being frozen.

    you can freeze it and it will whip but not so well.

      Agree with Yoanbob.

      Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

      Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

        Thanks both, I have always binned it before but will have a go freezing it.

          We have added fruit, lemon juice and sugar to the cream, and made ice-cream.
          So far got strawberry and a mincemeat icecreams
          "Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple

            I think my book suggests whipping it first, then freezing it.
