I am a quite basic cook, so has anyone got any easy turkey curry recipes please? I have a houseful of teenagers boxing day and would like to leave them a pot of curry and go to the pictures

I think I'm going to give this one a go, not for boxing day but for the Sunday after, looks easy.
Quick Leftover Turkey Curry
4 servings
2 lb Turkey; chopped cooked
1 1/2 ts Curry powder (more if you like it hot)
1 tb Soy sauce
3 onions; chopped
1/2 lb pea's (frozen or fresh)
1 Sweet red pepper; sliced
1 tb Cornflour
1 1/2 c Water
Heat a nonstick wok. Add the turkey, curry powder, soy sauce, and onions. Saute until the turkey is heated, about 2 minutes. Add the peas and pepper. Stir-fry another 3 to 4 minutes. Add the cornstarch that has been dissolved in the water. Cook just until the liquid thickens.
1/4 recipe = 151 calories, 3 lean meat, 1 vegetable exchange 7 grams carbohydrate, 22 grams protein, 4 grams fat 285 mg sodium, 404 mg potassium, 54 mg cholesterol

We've always found Patak's one of the best, especially as they have a lot of choice and some of us aren't allowed hot curries . Couldn't do GN's Quick leftover recipe anyway. Our wok isn't non-stick. And cook until it thickens? What if that takes all day? Do we have to wok around the clock? Why didn't Noah just swat those 2 greenflies?
Why are they called apartments when they are all stuck together?

Re the recipe, I find that with cooked meat it's a lot harder to get the deep flavours which you can get when you cook from raw in a curry but if you leave the chopped up turkey sat in a plastic bag with a bit of oil (I use chilli oil usually) and curry powder for a few hours before you cook it'll have more flavour. I'd probably add a couple of chopped chillies as a few more spices but it's personal preference.
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
