Stop bragging about all the nice things you've all had.

The extended family has now gone. I am still limited as to what I can eat (and drink) so I've just sat with an Aussie friend of mine and had a Chicken Tikka Masala sandwich on Naan bread, washed down with New Zealand Cabernet Sauvignon. Mainly because I love curry and that is the hottest I'm allowed.
Why didn't Noah just swat those 2 greenflies?

Why are they called apartments when they are all stuck together?

After cooking a big meal last night we're going for something simple tonight. I've got smoked salmon (reduced from Tesco) which I shall heat in creme fraiche with a sprinkle of nutmeg and parsley and fresh pasta. Easy peasy and quick.

After all the recent chat about brisket in a slow cooker that's exactly what were having, along with some lovely gravy, Yorkies a la Gordon Ramsay's recipe, carrots, peas, roast potatoes followed by Cherry Pie and Custard. OH is just out picking up his son then we'll get stuck in. They gravy smell is driving the dogs (and me) nuts.
