Fellow Marmite fans only

I love Marmite, if I have it on toast the toast has to be cold, it has to be real butter nothing else will do, then lots of Marmite. Also love It on thick fresh crusty bread.
OHs bought me some of the Limited Edition one with Champagne for Valentines Day, not all that bothered about it though...Tad sweet???

Must also add, Jinny the cat looooves Marmite, if I leave the room and he's left on his own with my toast, he'll lick all the Marmite off

Didn't like the Champagne version at all - the Guiness one was ok though.

Bean likes a bit of Marmite on toast - he's not too keen on it sticking to his hand though.

I'm in the; let the toast go cold first then spread with butter then with a good layer of Marmite camp.

Strange thing is, even though we use quite a lot of Marmite here I only ever buy the small jar. Just seems wrong to buy the big one. Don't ask me why.

Oh and we never have the squirty stuff in the plastic bottle. Can't be doing with these new fangled ideas.

I LIKE Marmite with butter on the toast/bread, but leaving out the butter is part of my attempt to lose weight!
On toast, I put the butter on hot toast, and let the toast melt the butter (or at least soften it enough to spread easily), but Marmite needs adding when toast is cool or cold.
On untoasted bread, Marmite works without butter, which is why I am not eating much toast these days!

Does anyone else have a lunch box like mine its called 'marmart' and its got a knife and a couple of toast face stencils.
