Always go for outdoor reared sausages, in the main porkinsons, have to get them at asda as our local tescoe has stopped doing them. We also goto a butcher who knows which farm the meat comes from locally. Its not local to us, but worth the extra bit of travel

I don't eat sausages nowadays but would if I could be bothered to make my own! When I was a little girl living in the Black Country (West Midlands) we used to have thick tomato sausages from the local butchers (Marsh & Baxters). I can still remember the taste after all this time. They were really scrummy, but I don't think anyone makes them nowadays. Anyone else remember them?

Our local butchers (The Hindquarter in Knott End, if anyone is passing) do their own.... they do about 10 different flavours, all made on the premises.

Our current favourites are Pork and Honey, and Pork, Black Pudding and Mustard.... yum!

Very occasionally get sasuages from the local Coop, cos they do a mean Pork and Sweet Chilli!
