  • Easter food?

So what are peeps eating today??

We have a leg of lamb- and I will be making a jelly bunny and cornflake nests with a mini egg

Eating this evening once the spuds and onions and shallots are planted out ( flipping rain showers!!!)

Got loads of daffs about the house and had soft boiled eggs and soldiers for breakfast.
Hot cross buns for mid afternoon. ( all esp imported by exceptionally kind peeps!!)

Yup- it feels like Easter- esp with the little chicks!!

A Cadbury's flake egg for starters, a chunky Kit Kat egg for main course and a Rolo egg (with last Rolo in from KK - aaah) for pudding!

              *feels sick

                Green with envy here Scarey!!!

but managed to make the choccie nests and jellied bunnies with UK ingredients!

( still mising my Cadbury's button egg though)......* wanders off in a quiet sulk until notices the fields and lambs and calves and baby chooks and swallows and wild flowers in the hedgerow...all enveloped in the evening sun.

                OK...sulk gone!

We're having Roast Rib of Beef on the bone. It's just come out and is resting! If it rests too near me there won't be any left for our guests!

Coooor - just had a bit fed to me by Chef, as I was typing - how's that for service LOL

We're also having Goose egg yorkie puds, roast Spuds, Carrots, Cauli, Calabrese, and home grown Leeks wot I just pulled up!

                        Boy am I hungry?
