I thought I'd invented this, as I was trying to come up with new ways to eat my beloved wasabi. But a google shows that others have thought of using peas as a crust too, but it's still delish, and I knows there are some other wasabi fans here. Dead simple too.
Salmon fillets, season slightly, place on oiled tray, spread with mixture of mayonnaise, lime zest and wasabi paste, press on some crushed/food processed wasabi peas to create a crust.
Roast salmon as usual until just done, then squeeze lime juice over (be fairly generous with this). Serve with stir-fried or steamed babycorn/mange tout/matchsticks carrots etc; and noodles tossed in peanut oil.
