They grow tons of them just down the road from here - les cocos de Paimpol.
Boil in water for about 20 minutes.
Drain
In the pan, fry some onion and garlic. Then, add the beans, chicken stock, a little tomato purée and let cook for another 20 mins. Add stock if necessary.
You can add bacon (lardons) if you like, herbs..... whatever takes your fancy.
I've got some Black Coco beans from HSL this year to give a try, the plants are looking great in root trainers and am hoping they will taste good too.
