JS. I use thick greek yoghurt in my scones which makes them a lot lighter. Substitute the butter/marg in the recipe with the yog. I'll have to try it in bread rolls now!

My husband doesn't like the smell or texture of bread cooked in a breadmaker so I have just started to make the dough in there and bake it in the oven.
I made my 3rd batch of white rolls the other day and they were lovely. He wasn't going to even try them as he assumed they would be the same as the ones cooked in the breadmaker, however, he did and is now converted.
I have yet to cook a loaf in the oven but may give it a go this week.
