All due respect but Galv steel will at worst give you the backdoor trotts the very first time you use it, BBQ temps will melt /burn off the zinc but to be honest i think you'll be more at risk from Noro virus/ Uncooked chicken or general drunken BBQ antics than any Zinc/Galv on a BBQ! if you see white flakes coming from the galvanised bits, don't breathe them in, been a welder for years and i know what "metal fever" is, you don't get it from BBQ's Enjoy your Summer what ever the weather!
