All due respect but Galv steel will at worst give you the backdoor trotts the very first time you use it, BBQ temps will melt /burn off the zinc but to be honest i think you'll be more at risk from Noro virus/ Uncooked chicken or general drunken BBQ antics than any Zinc/Galv on a BBQ! if you see white flakes coming from the galvanised bits, don't breathe them in, been a welder for years and i know what "metal fever" is, you don't get it from BBQ's Enjoy your Summer what ever the weather!

You must not partake of metals directly. You need iron too but you wouldnt wana suck on a horseshoe.
Save Red Admiral, Small Tortoiseshell, Peacock. Coma and Painted Lady butterflies. Dont cut stinging nettles in summer.
Only cut nettles grown in the shade.

Horseshoes are usually made of steel, so the carbon part's OK innit!?

I sorted it. I've dragged my electric oven onto the patio. I am now safe. Although it does look like rain...
