.... but I'm running out of ideas for what to do with Tomatoes!!!

I've still got lots and lots coming in (even after harvesting 70lb on last Saturday and processing them into passatta, pasta sauce, tomato soup, sweet chilli sauce and ketchup), and Mr D brought home another 30lb yesterday, with what looks like another 30lb to harvest for me tomorrow!

I'm running out of ideas, inspiration AND freezer space!

I'm making more ketchup, tomato chutney and tomato relish this weekend (should be enough to use the 60lb that we've got atm), but with the probability of another huge glut next week, I need some ideas and inspiration of what to do with them! Please!!

Well, we've got nowhere as many [no way jose] but I am oven-drying lots as they go really thin and thus take up less freezer space. I use the biggies for sauces and passatas and the little ones for ovendrying.

And making [daily] small amounts of thick sieved passata and eating it on pizzas and flatbreads.

what about selling the produce you make from the produce from the site? Like chutney etc?

I dont suppose that would be a problem, but dont you have to have proper labels n ingredients n stuff?

Plus I dont really want to sell it, I want to find a way to use it! Gonna use some of the runner beans to make wine today, but cant make wine with tomatoes!

They were originally for presents, but I've used a couple of jars of them already on homemade pizzas, with pasta, stuffed inside chicken breasts etc

I thought my glut of tomatoes was mad! I have only had about 20lbs in total, having said that most of them were cherry toms!

I have a question..... how do you dry tomatoes? I really love your idea of putting them in olive oil the posh way. Would be great for our homemade xmas pressies this year.
