Have used it a few times over the year and it's totally tasteless on it's own and therefore very good for adding flavours to that you want to taste. Can be very useful if done properly and seem to remember the mince was pretty good and probably better than using soy products.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Have tried soya and tofu, never again,I was first introduced to quorn a few years ago at WW,but i only like the mince, pieces, chic, brest look alike, the nuggets are ok,
sausages are yeuk, and burgers are like beef, she shudders, how ever,ASDA do a nice chilli bean burger, but the cauliflower cheese is toooo salty, each to their own,i quite often have just veggies,in with a drop of gravy taste just as good, sigpicAnother nutter ,wife, mother, nan and nanan, love my growing places, seed collection and sharing, also one of these

Why do meat eaters find vegetarianism so threatening? To see a world in a grain of sand

I eat meat, I eat meals without meat - I don't find either group (meat/non meat eaters) threatening when they talk about their food. Should I?aka

Sausage is a shape. So is burger.
So we could call them; 'quorn roll ups' or 'squished quorn patties' but it doesn't roll off the tongue so well. So it's just as easy to call them sausages as they are the same shape....
After all, sausages are just rolled up meat bits and burgers are just squished meat patties....so why can't we do the same with veg?
