Having established the bicarb situation lets assume we have a nice fresh smelling thermos...
Now over here we can get fairly good instant cuppacino sachets which are totally acceptable when the need is dire....
so I guess all you would need is boiling water in said thermos

I think you'll find that there is one available like the metal stove top espresso jobbies. Can't remember where and you would need to buy some sort of stove. Or as tweejakkals says (welcome btw) buy some sachets and a kettle!!

1. How did you find the vine?
2. What sort of weather do you get and what stuff do you grow?

Lovely to hear what people in other parts of the world grow. I lived in Atlanta, Georgia, USA a couple of years ago and no way would I have tried to grow veggies there - too humid and way too many insects.

Bicarb does work, but every so often take all the seals off the bung bit and wash thoroughly or replace, as gunk can often still lurk there, even with after a good wash....and that can pong too.

You could always get a whisk on the end of a stick that you can use for making your drinks frothy! Ive got one which I use not only for that but sauces, gravy etc. - excellent - no lumps! DDL

Isn't amazing how useful sticks can be! A good stick is the answer to almost all of the world's ills.

I've got a posh battery driven whisk which is perfect for whisking a bit of milk into hot chocolate drinks before you add the water....creamy! It's called an aerolatte and you could keep one in your shed, JG, just for making the frothy milk for your cappuchino.
