  • Goji berry seeds

I dont think this is in the right place so you can move it,

I have just got some gojiberry plants.

    Can you eat the seeds?

    Thanks very much

They are grown for the red oval shaped fruits. If this is what you mean, then yes, you can eat them. I think they taste disgusting though. Miracle food? Be a miracle if you catch me eating them!

I love them but only as a treat cause of the cost. Read somewhere, may be on here that the seed will grow - even from the dries ones? is this right or was I dreaming would love to try it. Help please. x

I think you just cut a few inches off the top. Always cut above a leaf. These trees need pruning, otherwise they grow realy tall. Hope this helps

Seed from dried Gojiberry fruit is still viable, so just soak a few fruit in water to soften, then scrape out the seeds and dry. When you sow them, do it very shallow as they don't need much cover.

My son's grown them from the dried ones. I still think they are barely edible!
