  • Allotment Relish recipe sought please :)

    Hi there
I bought a jar of 'allotment relish' recently at the Pumpkin Festival. Its absolutely delicious. When I asked the woman selling it for the recipe she said 'its on the internet.' and wouldnt be more specific.

However I have searched but have not found it?? It looks a bit like picallilli, in that its yellow in colour, but has all sorts of veg and fruit in it.

    Anyone able to help??

      Allotment Relish
4 kg fruit and veg - a mix of onions, plums, pears, apples, courgette, tomatoes (both green and red), carrot etc
      500g sugar
600-750 ml white wine or cider vinegar

Just chop the fruit & veg and cook up, boiling steadily until thick.
