Back in the 70s mother bought a yoghurt maker, it had six small pots that you put milk in then added a spoon full of live yoghurt, the machine was then plugged in must have been something like a propogator, the lid put on then left for a number of hours and hey presto home made yoghurt.

Very simular but ours was set out like a six egg egg box 3x2, my sister had a xmas present where you made things set in clear plastic, the idea was to make a large plaque with sea shells and thing and the only recepticle big enough was the lid of the yoghurt maker when the plastis set it had melted into the lid rendering it useless and that was the end of home made yoghurt.Last edited by PAULW; 12-11-2010, 08:25 PM.
