  • Smoked Mackerel Pate......

    Take one pack of smoked Mackerel (about 350g) , remove skin and flakeup.
    Mix in 200g of lowfat greek yogurt
    1 tbsp lemon juice
    2 tbsp creamed horseradish
    1 tsp cayenne pepper
    1/2 tsp tabasco

    spread on toast , crackers etc....will keep for 2-3 days in the fridge

    Enjoy

      Nicer than tuna and you can slways leave out the tabasco/cayenne if you don't want the kick

        Jo this is my absolute fave .... I don't bother with the tabasco, but I do put extra horseradish ... I'm afraid there are times when I don't even bother with the toast!! It's good on Ryvita too! Well .. it's just good and good for you too. Very low fat natural bio yogurt is also great if you are trying to be virtuous.
