  • Lunchtime Sandwich

So, what are you having for lunch? It's a hard choice here because it's in the middle of our tomato season, but I've narrowed it down to be between Malakhitovaya Shkatulka or Morado, or maybe I'll have both.

    Almost perfect!

I'd have the one I could pronounce! Seriously, they both look like really juice tomatoes. I'm having cheese, lettuce and supermarket tom (organic though, best I can do just now) but it won't be as nice as yours!

I will probably settle for a fried egg sandwich, homegrown of course

Oooh! I am biased... but the morado looks fab too! Maybe both and a slice of Japanese Zwiebel in between too!

Just had homemade macaroni cheese with homemade soda bread.

Both those butties look yummy- but I'd go for the red one- psychologically it looks more 'warming' to eat! ( flipping cold here today!)

Crispbread with low fat cream cheese, baby plum tomatoes (bought) and smoked salmon (also bought ) followed by mixed fruit salad.

Tomatoes are such a long way off... I just had a cheese and ham sandwich, with a bit of courgette chutney, mayo, pickled cucumber(from last years harvest) and some micro greens (which are beyond leggy growing on the windowsill) on my very first batch of hand made bread I made yesterday mmmm
