Any experience with yoghurt makers?

    That's what I do when I use UHT milk, but mostly use ordinary milk because I like the taste better.

      Yeah I so miss the taste of cow's milk and only have cereal every now and then, because soya milk is just not as tasty, no matter how many years I've had to re-train my taste buds. But I'm hoping that as soya or other alternatives yoghurts are ok, then making my own is the way forward. As soon as you are forced to buy alternatives as your staple, then it all becomes so much more expensive and end up having to cut down or having as a treat.

      So Bren as I have 7 jars, can I just pour the milk into each jars and add a spoonful of starter in each, or do I mix a spoonful of starter with the full amount of milk and then pour into jars?

        Dottie I don't think it matters which way you do it, it just might be easier to put a tablespoon into a jug rather than a teaspoon in each pot.
