Celebrity Endorsed Nosh

Hi Folks, it's been a while. I've not been gardening at all this year so far as I've spent all my time trying to get my new knocked-through sitting-dinning room sorted. Sorry if you felt neglected at all (and if you didn't, why not?).

I'm putting together a little present for my bro since, on Wednesday, it's been 1 year since he donated me a kidney. And I thought I'd do him a silly hamper full of random celebrity endorsed foodstuffs.

So far I've found:
- Neil Morrisey and Richard Fox Ale
- Paul Newman salad dressing
- Laurence Dallaglio pasta sauce
- Barry Norman's pickled onions

Has anyone noticed any more humorous endorsements when you've been shopping?
I'm avoiding celebrity chef endorsed things as seeing Jamie Oliver, Ainsley Harriot and Gordon Ramsey on the packaging isn't all that obscure, although I do have some Levi Roots' Guava Dipping Sauce as it just sounded nice.

Only more by one of the same people, Paul Newman range includes several BBQ sauces. I'm sure there ARE others, but can't think of them at the moment.

Something with the celeb' on it. It's supposed to be a funny present so he'll immediately think "Barry Norman pickled onions? Really?"

Gary Linker's "Salt & Lineker" Walker's crisps would have been ideal, but I think that was about 10 years ago! He is still in the odd advertisement though.

EDIT: I've discovered that the following exist/existed from a 2008 article on BBC News:
- Frankie Dettori - Italian foods
- Terence Stamp - Wheat-free bread and pasta
- Linda McCartney - Hearty vegetarian
- Harry Hill - Fairtrade peanuts
- Ian Botham and Sir Cliff Richard- wine

But it doesn't look like any of the is still in the shops

Don't know if I've felt neglected but it's certainly been quiet without you! Glad you're doing well, can't believe it's almost a year since your op!
I can't add to the celeb foods but couldn't you make spoof labels to go on tins - Linford Christies' sausages, Eamon Holmes' cake etc?

Too much of a foodie I think. It's a comedy present meant to invoke surprise in the association between the celebrity and the foodstuff, but everyone knows Lloyd Grossman and many of the other celebrity sauces. But Barry Norman and Niel Morrisey aren't well known for their beers/pickled onions.

Good thinking. I've just found "Steve Gibbs' Evensong Ale Sauce with Onion Marmalade". No idea who Steve Gibbs is, but the title sounded pretty funny, especially for a guy who's atheist enough to get married in a Register Office.
