Is it the sauce you don't like? Or the beans - too mushy? Try thinking of them as haricot beans instead

Overcooked with a dash of honey served with baked spuds straight out of the embers of a bonfire on Nov 5th, with good friends and good beer. The law will hang the man or woman

It's the good beer that makes them taste so good.Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.

Love baked beans but can't eat them as I am banished to the spare bedroom for the night if I do!!!My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order

PS Its probably the beans fermenting with Necastle Brown Ale that does it!My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order

Takes about an hour and a half for the 'effects' to kick in Snadger, and I wouldnt advise having a bubble bath with them, you couldnt make a quick escape from the smell!!Blessings

There's something in what 2sheds says (there always is!) in that your digestive system gets used to it. I love to make artichoke soup which I make in a big pan and have for lunch several days on the go. The effect can be a bit volcanic the first day but it really does settle down as your system gets used to it. Same with beans. You need to be bold Snadger!
(PS I remember a child at school writing ' my Daddy is tall and bold') She meant he had not much hair, but the teacher was very interested to meet him on Open Night!)Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.
