Yorkshire pud in non stick new muffin tin = no added fat & so just the calories in the batter i.e. hardly any!
Rhubarb wotsit = tub of cream, tub of creme fraiche, sugar in rhubarb = 6 zillion calories!

    No contest!

Probably too late now, but I'd still put a tiny 'smidgen' of oil in the bottom of each mould, heat that well on the top shelf of your oven, then pour the batter in. Because the heat of that oil when you pour the batter in, is just unique to yorkshires, particularly if it's duck or goose fat....
Oh, I forgot, you don't do calories!!.......
Did they turn out OK? No, don't send me one, I'll take your word for it!

Test for silicon bakeware - yorkshire puds

Normally I heat some 'proper fat' (it adds to the taste don'cha know ) in a bun tin in a hot oven before whizzing it onto the hob (with heat under) whilst I pour the batter in then quickly back in the oven, so I treated the new silicon tin the same, just putting it on a baking sheet (for stability, and because the directions say not to put on direct heat).

Returned to oven for 20 mins - should have taken a photo when I bought it out of the oven! Well risen yorkies just jumping out the silicon tray - a success for these at least ....now if you can just find me a recipe for banana muffins, Wellie, that'll be the next test!

Well, I would do, but I've not made them before, and just having read this recipe, I'm not convinced by their first ingredient: 85g 'honey-dipped dried banana chips'. What's the point? A Banana Muffin recipe should have Bananas in it, surely?
I'll get back to you with a better one.....!

Quite agree, and there are 4 small banananas looking going a bit ripe in the fruit bowl......
