        I appreciate that - I'm just saying you can do normal non freezer jam without lemon juice is all. If lemon juice is the issue then just make the jam without lemon juice. As long as you cook it enough it will set.

          I never put lemon juice in my "ordinary jam". A good old boiling till it sets is indeed the answer .

            Never heard of freezer jam but just had to Google. Some lovely recipes are on the Certo website, might just give it a bash. Sorry no help with the lemon juice issue.
