Inspired by , "The Fabulous Baker Brothers" (Channel 4) decided to try making my own Sour Dough 'starter'. Followed their advice - mixing equal quantities of flour and water in a jar, leaving it to collect a few air-borne yeasts then feeding it for five days with more flour and water.
Noticed this evening that it is starting to form bubbles!!!!!
Should be ready to use come Wednesday. Will let you know how it goes.
