More beaurocracy...........however I have been assured that recycled jars are ok but you should use new lids to ensure a good seal. Anyway I like my jars to be all the same so they are bought in . Recycled are only for home use .

EEK........... first big two day craft fair next weekend. Have been cooking pretty much nonstop to ensure enough stock and am dreading the loading up and transporting bit especially as we have no vehicle access at the moment. Think I have a good range of preserves that are slightly different from plain old everyday jam so fingers crossed........

It's been almost a year since I started this jammin' business so I thought I'd update for anyone who is vaguely interested.....
So much has happened and so much has been achieved so far.. I've had a great year some fairs have been fantastic and some and some a bit quieter but still covered costs so all good. Memorable moments have been........getting mobbed and almost sold out at the Earlesdon Festival . Developing my parsnip and horseradish relish which has even been enjoyed in Hong Kong....Our Lord Mayor doing the round of the tasters and buying and then telling someone later how much he enjoyed what he'd bought...Meeting lots of interesting people ...customers coming to a fair specifically looking for me, in a nice way ....
Must admit I've been a bit stunned by how well everything has gone and how much OH has enjoyed coming to the various events. He's been a star from making my stands to all the computor work with labels etc. chief taster extraordinaire , he never knows whats going to be on the spoon that gets offered him but tries it all and gives an honest opinion .
I've got a big two day festival at a national trust house this weekend and will be unleashing a new ketchup I've concocted on the general public so fingers crossed......
Thankyou for taking the time to read

Do you use the mayor's quote on advertising?

Have you got a website yet Jo? We will link ours to yours as soon as you do.

As a recipient of one of your jars of Parsnip and Horseradish as a pressie earlier this year; I make no bones about saying that it is one of the loveliest relishes I've ever tasted; and always tell people about it. If you had a website telling people which events you would be at then I could direct them there...
