There is a very good slow cooker thread around the Vine, somewhere. On there you will find a Lamb Shank recipe, which is fantastic. Mr.G loves it. I always find that there's too much sauce, so I just buy a load of lovely cheap Lamb Neck and do a second batch the next day, and freeze it.
I know I'm no cook, but I like food enough to have a go, and I'm a bung it all in, kind of a gal. Also, if you're lazy or short of 'faffing' time, you can bung in chopped onion, diced chicken breast, and a jar of sommat that takes your fancy (Thai Green Curry being my current fave). When you come home, open the door, and there's just the best smell!
